La Prueba del Menú: Squid games,
Ibai Llanos, Netflix and KFC
“The Menu Challenge” an event organized by KFC and Netflix
in collaboration with the streamer Ibai Llanos.
Inspired by the popular South Korean series “Squid Game,” the event was held at
the Caja Mágica in Madrid and brought together 456 participants competing
for a prize of 40 million won (approximately 27,108 euros).

During this event, we were in chargetechnical production and broadcast.





There were two important areas: the Master’s tower where Ibai and the casters (Mellado and Ferra) were located to narrate the challenges and the game area where the participants carried out the challenges.



We placed 17 cameras in different areas of the venue to make sure we didn’t miss any of the action. All of them fed into the instant replay system to review disputed plays.
We had interview segments in the participants’ area, hosted by Nil Ojeda. All covered by 5 RF cameras, 1 steadycam, 2 handheld cameras and 2 POV cameras.


We also had several special cameras to capture the POV of a car controlled by Ibai, the POV of a “Salsa gun” and the subjective camera of the money box.
