Building a community
Huawei was looking for a way to engage with users with its new store application: AppGallery.
The main objective was to take users to the new AppGallery making it their main tool to download and manage video games on their mobiles.
CABAL esports was responsible for the analysis of the market, development of the strategy, social media management, influencers campaigns and graphic design services.
After an extensive market and community study, we decided to create a meeting point for the entire AppGallery community and from there inform and offer support to users. We have created the AppGallery community for any user who would like to know more about the application.
We spawned and nurtured the needed social media channels to support this community: Twitter, Facebook and Discord. We also gave support to users who encountered difficulties with the application through these social media channels.
To promote the community we have created more than 50 different promotional art pieces to publish discounts, events or AppGallery ambassadors.

We designed the different arts for special events featured in the application.
We took actions and managed youtubers / influencers who were under the aegis of Huawei to make the community grow and increase the reach and influence of youtubers.
We also created a meeting point for all youtubers affiliated with Huawei to have closer communication.
Every week we collected data on all our actions and we measured the level of uptake of the community. We used a cross reporting system where we collected more than 40 different data streams divided between the different games, community, user support and new user acquisition.
Once the data we collected was analyzed, we adapted our strategy with the community to achieve the best results and give them the best service. Using an agile methodology to quickly change focus and improve our services as fast as possible.
