La Prueba del Menú: Squid games,
Ibai Llanos, Netflix and KFC

“The Menu Challenge” an event organized by KFC and Netflix
in collaboration with the streamer Ibai Llanos.

Inspired by the popular South Korean series “Squid Game,” the event was held at
the Caja Mágica in Madrid and brought together 456 participants competing
for a prize of 40 million won (approximately 27,108 euros).

During this event, we were in chargetechnical production and broadcast.

There were two important areas: the Master’s tower where Ibai and the casters (Mellado and Ferra) were located to narrate the challenges and the game area where the participants carried out the challenges.

We placed 17 cameras in different areas of the venue to make sure we didn’t miss any of the action. All of them fed into the instant replay system to review disputed plays.

We had interview segments in the participants’ area, hosted by Nil Ojeda. All covered by 5 RF cameras, 1 steadycam, 2 handheld cameras and 2 POV cameras.

We also had several special cameras to capture the POV of a car controlled by Ibai, the POV of a “Salsa gun” and the subjective camera of the money box.

From the mind of Jordi Wild comes the third edition of Dogfight Wild Tournament called Tertium Mortis.

With 12,000 attendees and 400,000 concurrent live viewers, DWT 3 has been the most spectacular and ambitious edition of the series.

In this edition, we decided to take it to the next level and create the first elevated fighting octagon.

We were reponsible for the direction and production of the event,
visual identity, set design and broadcasting.

As in previous editions, we held a full media dayto generate content around the fights.

The event and the narrative of Tertium Mortis are both inspired by gladiators and Roman coliseums.

We had no choice but to recreate a piece of the coliseum
and use it as the stage.

A challenge that must be accepted

Two of the most prominent national Valorant content creators team up with other creators to compete against each other in a live showmatch.

We brought this project to life in our new TV studio in Madrid.

Online tournament
of Supercell’s new game 

Storytelling added between games to create funny, viral and epic moments.

Between challenges, live connections were made with the set
where thanks to the interpretation of Mister Jägger and the help of augmented reality
we were able to generate very funny moments.

We used augmented reality (AR) to generate graphics and
render game elements on the stage.

Using AR as a tool to improve storytelling and influencer performance.

Having great costume design, excellent prop construction, well-developed 3D environments and scripts suited to the characters helped blend the game with reality.

The interactions from the studio were in the hands of Mister Jägger
dressed as different characters from the game.

To manage the tournament we created a virtual widget
where we could launch different challenges and a live ranking of the players.

One of the most anticipated
games of the year

With the premiere of the new Diablo we hosted a livestream
to show the game with different Spanish streamers.

We developed the scripts, TV broadcast design and production.

In the first part of the show we were showing the viewers a special picture
that had been sent to the different streamers.

We had two live raffles performed with our software created for use on Twitch.

Later we would show details of the game such as character
and class creation.

Tetris, the classic videogame
takes over Madrid

The grand finale of the Red Bull Tetris tournament took place
in Plaza de Callao in the heart of Madrid.

Before the finals we had the Red Bull Tetris Streamers Cup,
an online tournament with some of the best known Spanish influencers.

To warm up before the tournament finals we hosted the Streamers Cup.

It was produced a week before with TheGrefg and SUJA
from CABAL studios in Madrid.

CABAL was in charge of the graphic identity, broadcast and TV production

Red Bull and Lastlap created the original idea, took care of event production and managed tournament operations.

The Finals took place in the Plaza de Callao in Madrid.

In between official matches some of the best known Spanish streamers
played games to entertain the audience.
